Role Summary
We are hiring full-time Auger Drillers to operate advanced auger drill rigs across a variety of job sites, leading field operations, supervising crews, and ensuring all safety and environmental standards are met. Candidates must have strong mechanical aptitude, leadership experience, and hands-on experience with hollow stem auger, ODEX casing advancement, HQ wireline coring, installation of 2″ and 4″ monitoring wells, and geotechnical drilling.
Compensation Range
$27.00–$45.00 Hourly (Dependent on Experience)
This is a travel-heavy role with a 5-on/2-off or 10-on/4-off schedule, working 10–12-hour shifts. Overtime is common and occasionally required, with advance notice provided.
Basic Qualifications
- Driller’s License in NV & TX preferred
- CDL with no restrictions
- MSHA & OSHA 40-hour trained
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a team setting
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks that require crawling, reaching, and climbing
- Commitment to safety with a positive, professional attitude
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe workspace while prioritizing tasks effectively
- Knowledge of proper safety practices for hand and power tools
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions when required
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide a drill crew while maintaining strict safety practices
- Operate auger drilling rigs and complete basic mechanical repairs as needed
- Complete and maintain job records including time sheets, reports, and well logs
- Collaborate with clients, site managers, and project leaders to keep projects on track
- Perform regular inspections of drilling equipment to ensure operational safety
